"Gake no ue no Ponyo" è il nuovo film di Hayao Miyazaki, in uscita in Giappone nell'estate del 2008.

Ponyo è il nome di una principessa pesce rosso che vuole diventare umana, una sorta di "Sirenetta" in versione riveduta e corretta dal grande maestro, senza l'ausilio della computer grafica e con il personaggio coprotagonista Sosuke, di 5 anni, ispirato al figlio di Miyazaki, Goro.
