The Outer Worlds è il nuovo action-RPG fantascientifico sviluppato da Obsidian Entertainment, e diretto da Leonard Boyarsky e Tim Cain, il duo dietro alla saga di Fallout.

In questo genere di giochi dove le decisioni hanno un significato, trionfa la parte RPG. In New Vegas era possibile giocare e rigiocare più volte, assumendo personalità diverse che inducevano approcci differenti, e avere conseguenze sorprendenti.
