The Golden Book of Chemistry Experiments, scritto da Robert Brent e illustrato da Harry Lazarus, è un classico e introvabile manuale degli anni '60 che spiega la chimica per mezzo di 200 esperimenti con il tipico approccio pragmatico statunitense, ancora più interessante ed efficace data l'epoca.

E' anche il libro che nel 1994 ha ispirato David Hahn nel costruire un reattore nucleare autofertilizzante.

Quindi il "don't try this at home" è d'obbligo.
