E' ancora presto, Octogeddon verrà rilasciato nei primi mesi del 2017, ma erano anni che si attendeva il nuovo videogame di George Fan, il creatore di Plants VS Zombies, estromesso dal seguito (gli effetti si sono visti benissimo) da Electronic Arts, che ha incorporato Popcap ("resistance is futile"9.

E il team comprende altri elementi del capolavoro originale.
