Jessie Wilcox Smith
Jessie Wilcox Smith [1863, 1935] è stata una famosa e apprezzata illustratrice negli Stati Uniti durante la Golden Age e "una delle più grandi". Ha collaborato nella realizzazione di libri e riviste tra la fine del XIX e l'inizio del XX secolo.

Smith ha illustrato storie e articoli per clienti come Collier, Harper's, Scribners e il Ladies' Home Journal.

Tra gli oltre 60 libri illustrati da Smith ci sono "Piccole Donne" di Louise May Alcott e "Evangeline" di Henry Wadsworth Longfellow e "A Child's Garden of Verses" di Robert Louis Stevenson.
