In Neon Echo, i giocatori intraprenderanno un viaggio per sconfiggere la forza corruttrice del "rumore" utilizzando il potere della musica elettronica. Il gioco offre diverse carriere, build, combinazioni casuali di campi di battaglia e la possibilità di combattere al ritmo della musica. E' un'esperienza di gioco unica ed originale.
Ci sono oltre 400 campi di battaglia, da affrontare con un sistema di costruzione flessibile chiamato "Rhythm Launchpad" e una modalità di gioco impegnativa chiamata "Schrodinger's Noise".
