GParted è un sistema free montato su un linux minimale che fa il boot da Live CD. E' arrivato alla versione 0.2.5 e serve per manipolare e fare il mirror di partizioni di tipo Ext2, Ext3, FAT16, FAT32, JFS, ReiserFS, Reiser4, NTFS, XFS.

Quante volte cipollando con il sistema operativo si ha l'esigenza di fare spazio o spostare qualche vecchia e polverosa partizione di Windows (contropubblicità poco occulta)... GParted è finalmente il tool open-source indispensabile, visto che non serve nemmeno installarlo.

Basta scaricare la ISO e masterizzare e il gioco è fatto. Usarlo è molto semplice.
