The Sims 3 è uno dei giochi più popolari del mondo ed è l'ultimo stadio evolutivo del vecchio concept di Little Computer People.

Robin Burkinshaw, studente di game design, ha deciso di spingere il programma al limite giocando con due senza casa, Kev e Alice, padre e figlia. Le loro avventure avvengono con notevole realismo all'interno del motore del gioco, e risultano particolarmente toccanti anche grazie all'eccellente narrazione dell'autore.
