Happy Valley è una serie BBC scritta da Sally Wainwright assolutamente da vedere, non solo dagli appassionati di serie poliziesche. Sarah Lancashire interpreta Catherine Cawood, una travolgente sergente di polizia schietta e spiccia nello Yorkshire. Anche l'interpretazione del villain Tommy Lee Royce da parte di James Norton è indimenticabile. Apparsa nella prima stagione appena uscito di prigione, la figura di Tommy è carismatica, inquietante e stranamente infantile, consolidando così il suo ruolo come uno dei cattivi più iconici della televisione britannica.
