Il sempre mitico openculture.com pubblica un articolo che raccoglie oltre 55 ore di opere di Shakespeare.

Queste opere si collocano proprio durante il grande mutamento delle vocali avvenuto durante il rinascimento inglese nel corso di oltre 2 secoli. E' quindi esistito un periodo, intorno al 1500, nel quale in inglese le vocali si pronunciavano nel modo giusto ! Poi, per far nascere il business dei corsi di inglese, c'è stato un complotto per farne diventare impronunciabili e imprevedibili rispetto a quanto scritto sul foglio.
