The Animated Shakespeare è andato in onda tra il '92 e il '94 e ha messo in scena, animandole, 12 opere del Grande Bardo. Leon Garfield, un bravo autore per l'infanzia, ha scritto la sceneggiatura in doveroso omaggio allo stile shakespeariano e alcuni talentuosi animatori russi hanno fatto il resto.
