Il bento e' il pranzo "al sacco" giapponese, preparato con cura a casa e da portare a scuola o in ufficio. E' generalmente a base di riso, pesce o carne, ed accompagnato da verdure.Ultimamente si sta sviluppando una estetica che forse portera' anche il bento a diventare un'arte. I giapponesi si divertono a creare piccoli mandala alimentari a tema libero, per stupire i colleghi all'ora del pranzo.
